The team at Lunia Film consists of producer, author, director Luca Ciriello, and director and DoP Jan Stöckel. Both with a background in the humanities, Luca and Jan work closely with local communities and individuals, always prioritising creativity, human relationships, and professionalism.

Our core mission is simple yet profound: to craft captivating narratives while celebrating the varied landscape of diverse cultures. We immerse ourselves in the field, employing ethnographic research techniques, forging deep human connections and embracing varied cultural experiences. Understanding our clients’ needs is paramount to us, as well as using cutting-edge professional film equipment. With a blend of passion and expertise, we execute projects on a global scale, engaging with subjects in our films across seven languages: Italian, French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Swahili.
